I saw the film for the first time in the cinema in English I was very impressed, very pleasant atmosphere, the director returned to us in the 70-80s, the film contains many elements: it is about AIDS, prostitution, pimping, homeless people, homosexuality, the Italian mafia, Russian caviar and vodka Actors The games are in most – their good looks, Sebastian Stan played the role of young Trump well, the speech, gestures and facial expressions are at their finest, it’s like watching Trump himself on the news, but I even liked the role of Jeremy Strong a little more, in the clip of “I liked Roy Cohn” (Oscar nomination guaranteed) and Maria Bakalova in the Ivan Trump clip with a funny Russian accent. There is a lot of music from the 80s, I myself love the music and I really liked the films of that period, it is inserted where it is needed, so you can take a break from what you have seen and listen to the music.
I really liked how the director showed Trump’s attitude towards his loved ones, friends, colleagues and relatives
The main character: young Trump, appears in a changed form, young, insecure, not knowing how to position himself closed and in front of the public, while he is full of plans and wants to give New York a new face, position cool office skyscrapers and modern hotels. However, how he changes after his meeting with Roy Cohn in a restaurant in New York in 1973, where the whole entourage gathers, that we already have a different person in front of us with the arrival of the 80s and the new President Reagan.
I can’t say anything about the authenticity, but it is a feature film
